There are, however, several additional means of Optimisation that we can carry out in addition. This requires several steps, all of which contribute to how search engines value your site.
The main contributors are:
- Keywords: If you have a very specific set of keywords, your site will register well, but only for those specific keywords. Choose your keywords wisely.
- Inbound Links: A site will rank better if there are many other websites linking to yours. Be careful though, as the integrity of external sites contribute to your rating. bad websites linking to yours will bring your rating down.
- Content: The better the content, the better the rating, especially if your content is related to your keywords. When it comes to SEO, it's quality that counts, not quantity!
